This past weekend, I headed to upstate New York to celebrate a significant life event, and for this occasion, I decided to rent an AirBnB complete with a full kitchen. Knowing this, I loaded up the car with an arsenal of pots and pans, grabbed a blank sheet of paper from my printer, and thought for a while about what I would make while I’m there. The following is what realistically ended up transpiring.
Day 1 — On the Road + Check-in
Morning: Sausage and Scrambled Eggs
Ingredients:
365 by Whole Foods Market Organic Apple Chicken Sausage
Large Grade A Brown Eggs
Trader Joe’s Black Garlic
Red Chilli Flakes
Morton’s Kosher Salt
California Olive Ranch Olive Oil
Steps:
Heat up a pan on medium-high heat.
Slice sausage into bite sized bits.
Crack three eggs into bowl and add in red chilli flakes, kosher salt, and black garlic as necessary.
Once the pan is hot enough, add appropriate amount of olive oil and lay sausage down. Flip as needed with chopstick until cooked.
